Volunteering in India was a very great experience. The children I worked with at the daycare center were incredible; they were extremely bright and affectionate. I was also very lucky to have the most amazing host family who I still keep in touch with today. I always felt very safe wherever I was because I knew I had reliable people looking after me. My experience as a volunteer in India was unforgettable. Working at a NGO and immersing myself in Indian culture truly opened up my mind and heart. The NGO staff were always kind and patient with me, and the people we cared for truly inspirational. The host family accommodations were wonderful, and I felt well cared- for and safe. The staff of V4D are professional, knowledgeable and will do whatever is necessary to ensure the best possible experience for their volunteers. V4D gets my enthusiastic recommendation!
